Kerela is always famous for its backwater in Munnar, hills, houseboats, adventure, trekking, and wildlife. Kovalam beach in Kovalam Thiruvananthpuram is the perfect choice for travelers who want to explore with merriment that is surrounded by the Arabian Sea.

Kerela is best known for the cultivation of Scenic Tea and coffee. Many sub-cities are satiate with beauty and fresh windy air like Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, Kovalam, Kolam, and 40 other places.

The other famous City of Kerela is Alleppey, better known as the Venice of East, where Sparkling rivers surrounded by lush greenery adorn to the natural landscape scenery.

People always overwhelm about Alleppey’s snake boat race that starts in August at Punnamada lake Around16 snakes-shaped (large canoe style) boats 100-120 feet long are used by Kerela people to participate in this racing competition in backwaters.

Alleppey is famous for the backwater of lagoons on palm trees tied together with a strong network along the linked canal.

February is the best month to travel to Kerela and its sub-cities.

If you visit in the middle of the year (June to September), then it would be much difficult to explore the state due to monsoon and unable to enjoy the trip to the fullest.

A beautiful place with such pretty unique landscapes that you will never be able to search anywhere in India.

Along with it, you will see Gompas and beautiful monasteries are located high on the hills with a felicitous environment that eliminates one desolate emotion.


Travelers come up with a promise to seek adventure, trekking, para-gliding, explore the Tibetan culture, and experiences of the heavenly joyous environment by tourist guides. But it can be found anywhere in India.

The attractive landmarks to visit are Pangong Tso Lake, Shanti Stupa, Tso Moriri Lake, Leh Palace, Khardung La Pass, Magnetic Hill, Nubra Valley, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Spituk Monastery, Hall of Fame Museum, Changtang Wildlife Sanctuary, Tso Kar Lake, Stock Palace, Zanskar Valley, Kargil, Hemis National Park, Hemis Monastery, Moonland Lamayuru, Stakna Gompa, and Tiger Hill.

There are even more than these, but provided landmarks encourage the passion of travelers to come again and visit Ladakh.

If you ever had a chance to visit Ladakh, the shocking landmark you will find is a magnetic Hill where a car does not need gasoline to travel and steadily moves towards magnetic Hill seems magic is happening in front of you.

The one and only hamlet in Leh-Ladakh is Lamayuru that is popularly known for its bright moon-like topography and craggy terrains that will amaze you during nightfall.

And how I can forget the lovely Tiger Hills that became prominent for Indians during the Indo-Pak war in 1999 conquest and captured by Indians.

It was a turning point for India that later become tourist attractions place.

A great beauty to behold at the Indus river is Stanka Gompa, built on top of the cliff surrounded by hills.

The Monastery of Stanka Gompa is having beautiful paintings of Lord Buddha and colorful walls.

Once you visit this place, you will feel the positivity engross in the air.

When you travel to Leh-of Ladakh, you will have lots of thrilling experiences with loads of fun and the presence of peace in the hilly areas like Khardung La Pass.
